Letter from the Lord Chancellor, probably via an amanuensis, postponing an appointment on the grounds that he needs to confer further with Lord Rosslyn. Alexander Wedderburn, earl of Rosslyn from 1801 until his death in 1805, was the previous Lord Chancellor (1793-1801).
